PROCESS

PART A: In order to plan the itinerary, answer the following questions:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Where are you going? (Ex. country, National Park)

  • How are you going to travel there? (Ex. flight company, flight price)

  • Who are you going with? (Ex. members of your team)

  • Where are you going to stay? (Ex. type of accommodation: hotel, hostel, camping, apartment, bungalow, mobile home, etc.)

  • What travel items will you need? (Ex. suitcase, camera, etc.)

  • How are you going to travel around? (Ex. by bus, by taxi, on foot, etc.)

  • What are you going to do there? (Ex. visiting the National Park, etc.)

  • What will the weather be like? (Ex. 30º, sunny, cold, etc.)

  • How much does it cost? (Ex. 2600 euros)

PART B: Once you have arrived at the National Park, follow these steps:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   1º   Find out what animals you can find in the park.

   2º Choose TWO animals and write one report for each animal.

 

PARAGRAPH 1:

Name of the animal.

Physical description (What does your animal look like?     How big is it? What does an average one weigh? Does it have horns, scales, fur, tusks or claws? Describe the teeth, head, neck, tail, etc. How long does it live?)

Where they live (List the continent(s), country/countries, and/or smaller areas that it lives in: desert, swamp, tundra, deep sea, coral reef, tropical rainforest, pond, or other habitat)

 

 

PARAGRAPH 2:

Moves: how does your animal move (does it walk, fly, jump, crawl, etc.)? Is it slow-moving or fast-moving?

Diet: What does your animal eat and how does it get its food? Is it an herbivore (plant eater), carnivore (meat eater), omnivore (eating meat and plants), or something else?

Defense: How does it defend itself (and/or attack other animals)? Does it use teeth, fangs, claws, armor, horns, antlers, pincers, poison, a stinger, muscles, a strong smell, and/or something else?

 

 

PARAGRAPH 3:

The state of the animal today (Is this animal species in danger of extinction? Is there anything special about this animal? (myths, legends, stories, etc.)

 

 

At the end, compare the two animals: Ex. Elephants run less elegantly than cheetahs. The cheetah runs faster than the lion.
